C.J. Allen of Gainesville competed at the Southern Powerlifting Federation Record Breakers Meet in Gatlinburg, Tenn. and came home with a title and a new SPF world record in the Junior Men’s equipped 275-pound bench press class. At a body weight of 265 pounds, Allen pressed 450 on his third lift.

He took the record on an extra lift.

Allen had wanted to lift in the full-power portion of the meet, but a hamstring injury left him lifting in the bench-only division.

Some of the IronDawgs will be lifting in the Global Powerlifting Alliance Raw World Championships from December 1-5 in Atlanta and/or the Body by George Mini-Meet December 17 in Loganville.
