North Georgia College & State University’s Jacob Beauchamp has been named the Peach Belt Conference Freshman of the Week, the league office announced Tuesday afternoon. Beauchamp was stellar as he tossed nine scoreless innings in two North Georgia wins. Beauchamp started the week by working a nearly perfect eighth inning in a 5-3 win over Toccoa Falls.
