College scoreboard: North Georgia softball picks up pair of wins in Alabama

The University of North Georgia softball program closed out play Sunday in the Gulf Coast Invitational with a 10-2 win against Delta State and 8-0 victory against Mississippi College in Gulf Shores, Ala. In Game 1, Buford High graduate Bria Bush allowed two hits and two runs over four innings from the circle. Stephanie Hartness, Alishia Frierson, Sydney Sprague, Jessica Finch and Lexi Duncan all had multiple-hit performances for the Nighthawks.
