Chestatee grad scores career high

Tennessee State freshman guard and Chestatee High grad Parker Smith recorded a career-high 26 points in the Tigers’ 69-63 win against Eastern Kentucky on Sunday in Nashville.

Smith led the team in scoring and made six of nine 3-point attempts.

Smith graduated from Chestatee in 2008 and was The Times 2008 Boys Basketball Player of the Year.
