It was so refreshing to read Ms. Casas’ piece in the April 21 edition of The Times, where she unmistakably implied her faith in the veracity of God’s great plan of redemption through the all-encompassing work of Jesus Christ on the Cross of Calvary.
In the foreordained work of Christ, God provided himself with a fully comprehensive insurance policy, insuring himself against the loss of his creation and therein automatically insuring creation against the loss of its creator. Everything which was lost by Adam in the garden was brought back by Jesus Christ (the second Adam) on the Cross of Calvary (although individual people do have the right of refusal; they can opt out.) This sums up “the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Ephesians 3:11 KJV)
Throughout the remainder of the year, let’s see a whole bunch of submissions affirming faith in this totally unfathomable work of divine genius which absolutely could not have been devised by the very brightest of minds either human or angelic.
