East Avenue, which runs between Jesse Jewell Parkway and Parker Street in Gainesville, will be closed Wednesday, Jan. 15 to Thursday, Jan. 16 for water line maintenance.

The road will also close some time next week, and details will be announced at a later time.

Drivers are encouraged to watch for construction workers and equipment in the area.
