Gainesville City Council will meet Thursday for a work session to discuss the fiscal year 2015 budget and ad valorem tax rate. City Council will likely vote to adopt the budget when it meets June 3. City Manager Kip Padgett has proposed a $30.3 million budget and no tax increases.
