Tax-free weekend starts today for back-to-school shoppers and anyone else who needs a few new outfits or some computer equipment. State sales tax will be waived as moms and dads stock up on supplies just in time for the start of school Monday in the Hall County and Gainesville school systems. The tax exemptions cover a variety of items, but there are certain exclusions.
