Second suspect arrested in robbery; third suspect sought

Gainesville police have arrested a second suspect in Monday night's armed robbery of a convenience store and are seeking a third suspect.

Donovan Dwayne Jackson, 22, of Murrayville, was arrested today and charged with party to the crime of armed robbery and party to the crime of theft by taking, Lt. Brian Kelly said.

Police arrested another suspect, Joseph Thompson, on Tuesday in connection with the Monday night robbery of the Kangaroo store at 1680 Park Hill Drive. The robbery occurred shortly after 7:20 p.m. Monday. No one was hurt.

A third suspect remains at large. He is identified as 17-year-old Datrin Jackson of Murrayville. He is wanted on one count each of armed robbery and theft by taking.

Anyone with information about Jackson's whereabouts is asked to call Gainesville Police at 770- 534-5254.
