Road work is making travel even worse this week on one of Hall County’s busiest arteries, Spout Springs Road.

Hall County crews are repairing the two-lane road between Braselton and Hog Mountain Road from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day through Friday, officials said.

And that means serious delays up and down the busy stretch, even though congestion is eased somewhat by Hall County Schools being out for spring break this week.

The road is thick with subdivisions and churches, and it has large retails at either end in Flowery Branch and Braselton. Plans call for the road to eventually be widened to four lanes.
