Registration begins for appliance pickup

Hall County residents can dispose of large household appliances by registering for the annual appliance pickup.

To register, Hall County residents should call 770-536-7225, and Gainesville residents should call 770-532-0493, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. through March 5.

Registration is required for items to be picked up. Residents will be given a specific date to have their items out at the curb.

Up to three items per household will be accepted, including stoves, washers, water heaters, refrigerators/freezers, dryers and dish washers.

For safety, please remove doors from appliances that could trap a child.
