A rabies alert was issued today for the Tony Peck Road area in Murrayville after a rabid skunk came in contact with two dogs. The skunk was shipped to the Georgia Public Health Lab, Virology Section in Decatur and confirmed positive for rabies on Tuesday. It is Hall County's 17th confirmed case of 2012.
