Parents hear details on Gainesville school-choice plan

Tyrish Barnett is one of the few parents whose child will be impacted by proposed changes to Gainesville’s school attendance zones. “I do have a major concern,” she said after a public meeting on the matter at Gainesville Exploration Academy Thursday evening. “I would really hate for her to have to go to a school all the way across town because of the district change.”
