Hall County fire officials are trying to determine the cause of a fire this morning that damaged a South Hall mobile home.

Firefighters responded to the fire in the 3800 block of Chadwick Drive off Falcon Parkway, after getting a call from a neighbor, Fire Chief David Kimbrell said.

The call came in at 11:06 a.m., with units arriving to find heavy smoke pouring from the home, which has several additions.

No one was at home at the time of the fire, which started near an electrical outlet in the living room.

The fire caused about $2,000 in damage, Kimbrell said.
