Oakwood City Council gave its final OK on Monday night to a Nov. 3 election filling four council seats.

Qualifying is set for Aug. 31-Sept. 2, and the fee is $216. The last day to register to vote in the election is Oct. 5.

Council members are elected at large to four-year terms.

Three of the seats are being held now by Todd Wilson, Martha Collins and Montie Robinson. Their terms end Dec. 31.

Former Councilman Ron McFarland, who held the fourth seat, resigned earlier this month, as he moved outside city limits.

McFarland’s successor will complete his term, which ends Dec. 31, 2017.
