Oakwood approves annexations in business park
Most added property designated light industrial

Oakwood City Council gave its first OK Monday night to annexing 71.45 undeveloped acres in the Tanners Creek Business Park. Most of the property is being designated as light industrial. A couple of tracts, particularly a 20-acre tract at 4177 Thurmon Tanner Parkway, facing Interstate 985, would enter the city with agricultural zoning.
