Hall County firefighters spent a few anxious moments searching the burned remnants of a mobile home Tuesday before determining no one was home.

When fire trucks arrived at the home on the 3700 block of Reese Circle in the Talmo area at about 3:10 p.m. Tuesday, it was engulfed in flames.

Firefighters were told a woman who used a wheelchair stayed at the home. They were unable to enter the home until the flames were put out.

A subsequent search of the mobile home revealed that it was unoccupied at the time of the fire.

The home sustained serious heat, smoke and water damage. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
