What happened with the huge house at the corner of Stephens and Flat Creek roads?

The home that has been under construction since 2009 is about 80 percent complete, according to Ricardo Quintero, the real estate agent for the property.

It has remained around 80 percent complete since mid-2013, according to Lamar Carver, with Hall County Building Inspections.

The 9,985-square-foot home has 23 rooms in total, a full basement and an in-ground pool.

“Right now, we’re looking to sell the home as-is,” Quintero said. “Mostly it’s just the flooring and other small things that aren’t finished.”

According to public records, the property was last sold to Fernando Lara and Flor Ramos and it’s latest tax valuation is $1.1 million.

It’s now on the market for $1.3 million.
