Countless times we have driven to the Chick-fil-A in Gainesville only to turn around and leave due to the over-crowdedness of the restaurant as well as the drive-thru. Can we not get another facility in the North Hall area? North Hall is steadily growing and has several potential locations for a second store.

In short, no, there are no plans for another Chick-fil-A in the Gainesville/North Hall area. According to the Chick-fil-A website, the company takes hundreds of suggestions for new locations every year, but the number that actually opens is limited.

New franchises are opened based on the company’s expansion goals and other factors that will affect its business.

Currently the company has plans for openings in quite a few states around the country, including New York, Wyoming and Washington.

The closest Chick-fil-A opening in Georgia will be in Bartow County.

It seems you’ll just have to be prepared to wait in line for not only a second restaurant to open, but also for that chicken sandwich.
