A former Hall County Sheriff’s Office victim advocate and WDUN radio personality killed in a wreck earlier this month has been honored with a Georgia General Assembly resolution.
James “Bimbo” Brewer, 73, died in a car wreck Jan. 5 in Gainesville.
A resolution was read and adopted Jan. 24 to honor the man, who also worked as a district editor at The Times.
“Mr. Brewer was a gifted storyteller, historian and colorful character who brought joy to the lives of everyone he knew,” according to the resolution.
