A Conyers company has been awarded a contract to improve a 4-mile stretch of Ga. 82/Holly Springs Road in East Hall County. The Georgia Department of Transportation announced Wednesday it has awarded the $493,949 contract to Pittman Construction Co. The work calls for milling, resurfacing and paving Holly Springs from the Jackson County line to Ga. 323/Gillsville Highway.
