History centers Family Day highlights Atlanta Olympics

With the 2012 London Olympic games around the corner, the Northeast Georgia History Center’s theme for this month’s Family Day was the Olympics coming to Atlanta in 1996. Family Day is represented by a different theme each month, although some of the more popular ones have been repeated. Julie Carson, education and volunteer coordinator, says these events are a true benefit to the community.
