Gainesville’s daddy daughter dances are being postponed to late March because of the damage to a structural beam at the Gainesville Civic Center.

Originally set for late February, the dances have been postponed to March 26-29 while the beam is repaired. The beam supports the ceiling of the civic center’s ballroom ceiling and the damage doesn’t affect any other portion of the building.
