Turbo Truck Center employees pose for a photo after reassembling the Steven Kline sculpture. The company restored it by using automotive paint.
Noticing the faded look and disrepair of a sculpture at Quinlan Visual Arts Center, Turbo Truck Center graciously offered to restore the piece by Steven Kline called “Lithely Verdant/Gravity Fritz.” The business used automotive paint — a solution that may be beautiful and durable — to give the sculpture a fresh look, which will allow visitors to the Quinlan to enjoy the piece for years to come. The sculpture was donated to Quinlan in 2006 after sitting outside of the former Wachovia building (now Wells Fargo) on Jesse Jewell Parkway in Gainesville.
