Tadmore students earn strong finishes at Regional Social Studies Fair

Tadmore Elementary fifth-grader Eden Castrejon took first place for his project and was honored as one of the “Best in Region” at the Regional Social Studies Fair held March 4.

Tadmore Elementary fifth-graders earned high marks at the Regional Social Studies Fair held March 4 at the University of North Georgia’s Gainesville campus.

The Georgia Council for the Social Studies hosted the event, which drew more than 200 participants from 44 county and city school systems.

Eden Castrejon earned first place for his project and also was honored as one of the “Best in Region.” He will compete in the state social studies fair April 22 at Clayton College.

Kalub Head, Aaliyah Godina and Lucas Chastain earned second-place honors, and taking third place were Kensley Day, Kayley Roberts and Javier Sanchez.
