The North Georgia Technical College Foundation awarded two Blairsville Scottish Festival Scholarships for summer semester to students attending the Blairsville campus. Scholarships were awarded to Magdalena Espinoza, a phlebotomy tech student who graduates at the end of summer semester, and Jade Aguilar, who is enrolled in the health care science program and hopes to continue her education in the Associate of Science in nursing program. These students were chosen based on their GPA, recommendation by instructors and documented financial need.
