Summer has finally officially arrived and so have potential employment opportunities at an upcoming job fair hosted by the Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce in conjunction with the Georgia Department of Labor.

The job fair is scheduled for 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Georgia Mountains Center.

Robyn Lynch, vice president of membership development with the Chamber of Commerce, said the job fair is "to help employers promote their jobs and also to let employees be able to go to one place and talk to several different employers."

The event will feature about 21 different companies with available positions. Lynch said the companies featured are in fields ranging from industrial and manufacturing to administrative and professional.

Lynch said she recommends that interested applicants bring several copies of their resumes and "dress for the job they want."

During the fair, some employers will set up times for interviews while others accept applications and hand out further information, Lynch said. She added that there is still available space for potential employers.
