Gainesville Police removed a man’s body Friday afternoon from a home on Oak Street.

A body removal van and multiple patrol cars arrived Friday morning at the scene in the 700 block of Oak Street, according to employees at businesses nearby.
Gainesville Police Sgt. Joe Britte said the man was homeless and in his early 60s.

Gainesville Police Cpl. Kevin Holbrook said there is no suspected foul play.
