Two Gainesville men have been arrested and charged in a home invasion robbery that occurred Dec. 4.

Officers responded to the call that day in the 900 block of Eastlake Drive, according to police spokesman Sgt. Kevin Holbrook. The homeowner said two armed men entered her home, took some valuables and left. No one was injured.

The investigation led to the arrest of Timothy Levi Rider, 25, and Zachary Tyler Hubbard, 20, both of Gainesville. Both were charged with one count each of armed robbery and burglary. According to police, the suspects knew the victim.

Rider is being held in the Hall County Jail. Hubbard is being held in Florida on an unrelated robbery charge.
