David Lawson of Chestatee High School and Hunter McGhee of Flowery Branch High School have been named 2015 Georgia Scholars, two of 183 seniors from across the state to be recognized. The program “identifies and honors high school seniors who have achieved excellence in school and community life,” according to Matt Cardoza, spokesman for the Georgia Department of Education.
