Gainesville Elk elected as state officer
The Georgia Elks Association elected businessman Larry J. Emmett as state president-elect of the association for the year 2014-2015 at its annual meeting on Jekyll Island, Emmett is a past exalted ruler of the Gainesville Elks Lodge and past district deputy to the national president. He and his wife Mickie reside in Gainesville.
