Mr. and Mrs. Gregory F. Bell of Dahlonega announce the engagement of their daughter Miss Deborah Ashley Bell to Mr. Andrew Powell Sailors, son of Mr. and Mrs. Allan Powell Sailors of Gainesville.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. James L. Wilson, Mr. Otis C. Bell and Ms. Doris N. Barrett of Sandy Springs.

She is a 2005 graduate of Lumpkin County High School in Dahlonega. She graduated in 2010 from Kennesaw State University in Kennesaw. She is employed by Fresenius Medical Care in Gainesville.

The groom-elect is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Major H. Pirkle of Gainesville and the late Mr. and Mrs. Horace W. Sailors.

He is a 1999 graduate of Johnson High School in Gainesville. He attended Gainesville State College. He is employed by United Parcel Service in Gainesville.

The couple plan to wed Oct. 2, 2010, at Mount Vernon Baptist Church in Murrayville.
