William and Eva Dell Hughes of Gainesville celebrated their 50th anniversary on June 14, 2008. A reception held in their honor was given by their children Corinila Hutson and her husband Danny and Colleen Grizzle, and their grandchild Allison Honeycutt and her husband Chris.

The couple have two children and one grandchild.
