Paddle your way around the state

Are you an avid paddler? If so, the Georgia State Park System has a challenge for you.

The system recently started the Park Paddlers Club for kayak and canoe enthusiasts, and issued a call for paddlers to try out 22 miles of water trails in the park system. Members who complete the task can show off with a T-shirt commemorating the effort.

Most of the trails are in middle and south Georgia, with one trail west of Atlanta. So if you’re looking for some new scenery, join the club for $10 and head out for some adventure. To learn more, call 770-389-7401 or visit Park Paddlers Club.
