Harvest time has arrived in the Northeast Georgia mountains, and the season brings the sights of bright fall colors, the sounds of mountain music, and the scents of barbecue smoke and fermenting wine.

With that in mind, Three Sisters Vineyards presents its annual Swine Wine weekends through Oct. 26.

The family farm winery will combine music, barbecue and wine tasting. Food will be presented by Hickory Prime BBQ, Rib Country BBQ, Big D’s BBQ of North Georgia and others for several weekends.

Swine Wine hours are 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays and noon to 5 p.m. Sundays.

Admission to the winery is free. Food, wine and beer are extra.

Music ranging from jazz to Americana, folk and bluegrass will be performed on the Crush Pad Deck every Saturday and Sunday. The celebration culminates with the 14th annual HalloWINE Hoot Nanny in October.

Scheduled musical guests include: Moose & Squirrel on Sept. 27 and Oct. 4 and 11; Buzzard Mountain Boys on Sept. 28 and Oct. 12, 25 and 26; Rick Harris and Ken Gregory on Oct. 5 and 19; and Mossy Creek Gypsies on Oct. 18.
