Ready for a sunsplash of Caribbean rhythm to brighten up the cold, dreary winter days? The next concert in The Arts Council’s Evenings of Intimate Jazz series will warm up the Smithgall Arts Center on Friday, Feb. 1, with the Latin American sounds of the Havana Son Trio. The show begins at 8 p.m. The group was created by Cuban native Rene Herrera, an award winning composer and arranger as well as a former Mercury Records recording artist.
