Voices of North Georgia concerts

When: 7:30 p.m. Oct. 24 and 3 p.m. Oct. 26

Where: St. Paul United Methodist Church, 404 Washington St., Gainesville

Cost: $15 adults, $12 seniors and students, $5 for children younger than 11.

Notes of “Sing Unto Zion: The Brahms Requiem” will rise and fall in tempo as the Voices of North Georgia performs its fall concert.

The regional choir will sing the requiem in English, combining its harmonies and melodies rhythmically, in two separate performances. The first will be at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 24. The second will be at 3 p.m. Oct. 26.

Both concerts will be at St. Paul United Methodist Church, 404 Washington St., Gainesville.

Tickets are $15 for adults; $12 for seniors and students and $5 for children younger than 11 years old. Tickets are available at The Ship Station on John Morrow Parkway, at Frames-You-Nique on the downtown square and online at www.voicesofnorthgeorgia.com. They will be available at the door the day of the concert.
