Cool cabaret songs will punctuate the air as the Voices of North Georgia presents its midwinter gala.

Selected songs include “That Old Black Magic,” “Night and Day,” “Puttin’ on the Ritz,” “At Last,” “Chattanooga Choo Choo,” “Embraceable You,” “As Time Goes By,” and “Something’s Gotta Give.” They are from composers Johnny Mercer, Cole Porter and George and Ira Gershwin.

Soloist Katie Marlowe will sing “C’est Si Bon” and soloist Tracy Small will sing “April in Paris.”

The Lanier Dance Club will demonstrate and perform several ballroom dances to the music.

The concert — originally set for Feb. 20 — will be at 7 p.m. March 27. Seats will be set up in the grand ballroom of the Gainesville Civic Center, 830 Green St., in Gainesville.

The $15 tickets may be purchased at the door, online at www.voicesofnorthgeorgia.com, or by calling 678-591-1545. Tables of eight may be reserved.
