The Voices of North Georgia choral group will open its 43rd season with a performance titled “Many Songs, One Voice” this weekend.

The choral group will present two concerts at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 28 and again at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 29. 

“People around the world love to sing. Many of our most cherished human experiences are set to music in the folk song traditions of various cultures,” said VNG member Diane Brower. “Our concert will feature song arrangements from a variety of cultures of the East and the West.”

The event will take place at the Lakewood Baptist Church Chapel, 2235 Thompson Bridge Road NW, Gainesville.

Tickets are $15 for general admission seating, $12 for seniors and students and $5 for children younger than age 11.
