Some say truth is scarier than fiction. And now you can learn some of Gainesville’s scary truths.

The Northeast Georgia History Center is partnering with Main Street Gainesville to share the haunted history of downtown Gainesville.

This tour will take guest around downtown Gainesville and share stories from the area’s past. Plus, participants can stop and grab a snack at a discounted cost with your ticket.

Tours will begin every 20 minutes between 6 and 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 27, and Friday, Oct. 28. Tours will be 90 minutes long and be limited 25 guests each session.

Tickets are $8 for Northeast Georgia History Center members and $10 for nonmembers. Some time slots are already sold out.
