Sterling on the Lake is bringing art to the park for its first-ever Arts Fest from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, April 28, at Sterling’s Village Center Park.

The free festival offers art, music and food, a juried artist competition, art exhibits and demonstrations, model home gallery and tours, live jazz and blues performances and wine tasting.

Art featured will range from photography and glass mosaics to handmade jewelry and chain saw art. Local artists such as Cheryl Hardin, Gallerie 110 and Bella Folk Art will be featured.

Children can create their own masterpieces with sidewalk chalk, spin art and other fun festival activities. Guests will also enjoy live music from The Brotherland, Tom Grimm Band and OPEX, plus performances by Heather Wayne’s Performing Arts Dance Academy and Creative Movement and Dance.
