The city of Cornelia is once again putting on a dance to end all dances.

If you missed your high school prom, this is the chance to make up for lost time. The Cornelia Downtown Development Authority is hosting the “Third Annual Tacky Prom.”

The fundraising event for the Cornelia Facade Grant program will be from 8 p.m. to midnight Saturday at the historic Cornelia Community House. Music will be provided by DJ Clay Christy with Brickhouse Mobile DJ.

Everyone dressed tacky will have the chance to be crowned Tacky Prom King and Queen or possibly win another prize. Other prizes will be awarded for tackiest hair, shoes and corsage.

A cash bar will be on hand. Admission is free.

Participants must be 18 to enter and 21 to drink. Photo ID is required.
