Folk rock band Emerald Rose is celebrating St. Patrick’s Day with an 8 p.m. Saturday performance at the Holly Theater in Dahlonega.

The four-man band plays what they call new Celtic music, with influences including the Chieftans and Jethro Tull. The pennywhistle and Irish pipes are featured along with driving guitars, bass and eclectic percussion. Music includes pop, traditional jigs and original folk rock.
