This year’s celebration of the Epiphany may have you standing up and cheering.

The First Presbyterian Church in Gainesville will present “Behold That Star! A Musical Celebration of Epiphany.” It will feature music by the FPC Chancel Choir and Canticum Novum, and also by the Lanier Chamber Singers directed by Jon Arnold. Mike Henry will conduct the Chancel Choir. It will also feature a newcomer to Gainesville, baritone James Marshall as soloist.

Bill Maine will narrate, and there will also be congregational singing of familiar carols. The concert is free to the public.

The celebration begins at 5 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 5, at First Presbyterian Church, 800 S. Enota Drive in Gainesville.
