An ancient form of puppet theater will materialize before the eyes of audience members at the Sautee Nacoochee Center. On Saturday, March 7, the shadows of intricately carved leather puppets will be projected onto a screen for “Wayang Kulit: The Shadow Play of Kelantan.” The shadow plays are based on the Ramayana, an age-old Hindu epic that has become a treasured folk tale across Malaysia.
