Ordinarily when Santa comes around with his bag of gifts, little ones stay out of sight for fear that their stockings will be filled with coal if they spy on him.

But Saturday they'll be able to sit down and have breakfast with him at Babyland General. The Cleveland home of the Cabbage Patch Kids dolls will be host to a breakfast with Santa from 9-10 a.m.

"We're serving pancakes with a variety of toppings, like sprinkles. It's going to be held in our ballroom, which has lots of decorations," said Margaret McLean, Babyland director of corporate communications.

"Children can visit with Santa and we will also have our costumed characters there. It'll be a fun start to the day."

The breakfast is $10 per person. Reservations are required by Friday.

In addition to mixing and mingling with the jolly one, attendees ages 12 and under will receive a special surprise gift.

After the breakfast, participants are invited to visit Babyland General Hospital to see firsthand where the Cabbage Patch Kids are born.

"This year, we really went all out. We have more than 50 trees and everything is decorated beautifully," McLean said.

"Admission will be free, so its the perfect opportunity to get into the holiday spirit."
