Rude Frenchmen, cancan dancers, the Lady of the Lake and her Laker Girls, Killer rabbits, catapulting cows, and the somewhat odd Knights are the kinds of characters who are part of Jackson County Comprehensive High School’s production of “Monty Python’s Spamalot!” Lovingly ripped off the movie, “Monty Python and the Holy Grail,” the play is about the adventures of King Arthur and his knights of the round table in their quest for the holy grail. The irreverent parody of the Arthurian legend was a Broadway hit and nominated for 14 Tony Awards, winning three.
