Singing without music is a talent one group excels at and plans to show off in concert.

The Piedmont College a cappella group, Cantabile, will present “Now and Then,” a program of popular music from the 16th century to the 20th century.

The free performance is scheduled for 5 p.m. today in Brooks Hall at the Center for Worship and Music in Demorest.

Cantabile director Dr. Wallace Hinson said the group of 10 singers will perform works by composers ranging from Johannes Brahms to Billy Joel and Neil Young.
