Musical program spans time from classics to pop on April 3 at UNG Gainesville
A Little Night(hawk) concert series to feature Laurin Smith and Esther Morgan-Ellis

An eclectic program of classical favorites, new works and popular songs from the mid-20th century can be heard during the program “Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed, Something Blue.”

Presented by A Little Night(hawk) Music Concert Series, Violinist Laurin Smith will perform music by Jean-Baptiste Lully, Georg Philipp Telemann and Franz Schubert (1797-1828). Then cellist Esther Morgan-Ellis will play a medley of Baroque music, a newly composed suite for solo cello and a selection of jazz standards.

The program will be at 7:30 p.m. Monday, April 3, in the Ed Cabell Theatre lobby at the University of Georgia Gainesville campus, 3820 Mundy Mill Road, in Oakwood.
