Lanier Technical College has partnered with King’s Hawaiian to present the first 5K to benefit the Lanier Technical College Foundation. The event will be Saturday at the Oakwood campus with the 1-mile fun run beginning at 9:30 a.m. The 5K race will begin at 10 a.m. Parking for the race will be in the parking lot in front of the Lanier Technical College’s Advanced Manufacturing Facility (Building 500). Packet pickup and race day registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. All proceeds from this race will go toward the Lanier Technical College General Scholarship Foundation.
